meetings
Everyone is welcome to attend all meetings of the Town Council, which are held in the council chamber at the Town Hall. The public cannot participate, unless invited by the chairman. However, at the Town Council meeting a short period of time is given over for members of the public to air their views.
The Planning Meetings are held fortnightly.
The Town Council meetings and the Finance and General Works Committee meetings are held on alternate fortnights. The Town Hall Sub Committee meeting and the Open Spaces Committee meetings are held bi-monthly.
On the first Thursday of the month there is a Town Council Meeting which commences at 7.45pm and is always followed by a Planning Meeting.
On the third Thursday of the month there is a Planning Meeting which commences at 7.45pm and is always followed by The Finance and General Works Meeting.
The Town Hall Sub Committee Meeting and the Open Spaces Committee Meeting both commence at 7.30pm.
The Annual Town Meeting takes place in April and the Annual Meeting of the Town Council at the beginning of May.
